Where are you located?
Milorad Borota lives and works in Vancouver, BC in Canada. Other staff members are located outside of Canada, in Croatia and Bosnia, in Europe.
Why do you have staff outside Canada?
We serve Canadian employers and truck drivers. Some of the truck drivers who are our clients are outside of Canada and North America and due to the time zone difference it is more convenient for them to contact someone who is physically located in Europe.

Yes. You will have to provide details about your requirements and expectations in terms of work experience, education, language proficiency etc. and we can arrange Skype interviews with as many truck drivers as you want.
Can you assist with interpretation (if needed)?
Yes - we can arrange for an interpreter to participate in the Skype call just in case if foreign truck driver is not perfectly fluent in English and employer does not want any misunderstandings during the job interview. At the present time this is available only for Serbo-Croatian language (and its local variants).
Can you do basic background checks outside Canada?
Yes, we can contact truck drivers' previous employers and ask them a basic set of questions (agreed with you ahead of time). Please contact us for details.

FAQ - Truck Drivers

Do you provide your services to Canadian truck drivers only?
No - we provide our services to both Canadian truck drivers and foreign truck drivers (foreign nationals who are willing to come to Canada and work as truck drivers).
Can you find work in Canada for me?
We understand you are busy driving and may not have time for sending your resume to Canadian employers. For that reason we offer services such as ACTIVE MARKETING and TARGETED ACTIVE MARKETING where we e-mail your resume to Canadian employers on your behalf. We can even try to arrange Skype interview for you however we do not negotiate job offers with Canadian employers. We play administrative role in the process. It is up to you and your Canadian employer to arrange a job offer.
Do you charge truck drivers for your services?
Yes, we do charge a fee for the services we provide. For details please see the Pricing page of our web site.
Is it legal to charge foreign workers for job related services?
In Canada it is illegal to charge foreign workers for securing job offer for them (which is not what we do) however, it is perfectly legal to charge for advertising foreign workers' skills, for assisting foreign workers with administrative tasks such as e-mailing their resumes on their behalf, interpreting for them, preparing resumes for them etc.

This will also increase the likelihood of Canadian employers contacting you and arranging job interview with you.

Do you guarantee I will find work in Canada?
We will do our best to help you find work in Canada however, no one can provide you with 100% guarantee that you will be offered a job by Canadian employer because you put your profile on our web site. We do believe that your chances of securing a job offer are much higher if you have a good resume, if you contact great number of Canadian employers, if you perform well on the job interview and if Canadian employers have some basic information about you as a person before they contact you (which is the purpose of your profile on our web site). We can help you with all those steps therefore we believe our services are of great importance to anyone who wants to work as a truck driver in Canada.

What is canadiantrucker.org?

Perhaps the first question one may ask is what is www.canadiantrucker.org? Is it an organization? Agency? Company? Answer to this question is simple: www.canadiantrucker is neither company nor agency, it is not an organization either. It is a web platform which makes it possible for several people to offer their services fairly independently from each other (there is a degree of coordination among them however each person is responsible for signing their own Service Agreement with their clients and each one gets paid directly for the services they provide). You can think about it as a small shopping mall where individual vendors sell shoes, clothes, books, food etc. all under one roof. www.canadiantrucker.org is very similar to that small shopping mall however we do not sell food or books, instead we offer our services for sale.
